Unconscious bias is important

Haven't posted in a while, but I came across this interesting piece in Slate about the ways in which female performance is effected by preconceived notions of what females are good or bad at. It's a good read, citing several studies into the matter. Oh, and Poland has shafted Russia - at least through denying them an opportunity to negotiate a strategic agreement with the EU. It will be interesting to see what fallout this decision creates in terms of Russia-Western relations.
