Whenever I can I put a group of links up from news stories, gathering (what I hope to be) interesting sources so that you can either spend a couple of minutes reading the text, or a couple of hours if you include all the links. :)

Two links sent to me from a friend of mine today. The first is an expose of the hidden side of Canadian imperialism as some MPs plot to annex the island nation of Turks and Caicos. The second is presumably a story about how Yale Republicans are rallying behind Bush, but what makes the story great is the interspersing coverage of protesters calling themselves 'Billionaires for Bush.' Dressed up in formal wear and handing out pamphlets, the quote of the story comes from the vice-chairman of the Yale College Republicans, who admits that it was difficult to stop the protesters because the blended in so well, or as he put it: "One of the problems we faced in this rally was that they kind of look like Bush supporters."
